For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. Next to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit the Gospel is the most important thing in the world. It is the means by which people are saved through faith and the grace of God. It is good news. The gospel encompasses the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus as the path to salvation, encompassing God's love and provision for humanity's sin, presented in the New Testament books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which tell this story. The Gospel is simply this: Jesus the sinless Son of God died in our place and rose for our justification. Let's look at: 1) The Gospel of Righteousness, 2)The Gospel of Grace, 3) The Gospel of Truth and 4) The Gospel of eternity.
