Spruce Creek: Cosette and Jodie

In the 1970's, Spruce Creek was a wonderful place for 13-year old girls Cosette and Jodie. While Jodie had lost her father in Viet Nam, Cosette lost her mother to cancer. Each understood the hole left in their lives. Though their school years they had become invincible and inseparable. Now they were noticing changes. They are coming to realize that they are teens who need answers, but where could the turn. In mid-summer, much bigger problems came their way. A flood devastated their village, chasing both out of their homes. In the struggle to recover, the girls learn their damaged houses weren't the only things that needed recovery. The spirit that made each the adventurous and curious teen needed repair as well.
